Accommodations

The cost of accommodations is separate from the cost of the workshops. If you are interested in our accommodations, please email info@terramannabread.com .

Moon unit at night

We are fortunate to be able to offer accommodations to some of our bread school students. Currently we have two private guest cottages that share a fenced patio and swimming pool.  Each unit  can accommodate up to two people. These units are separate from the main house (where we live).

Roadrunner

The RoadRunner Unit is a large partitioned space (studio with a separate sleeping area) that has one king sized bed that can separated into two twin beds if preferred.  The unit has a small but fully functional kitchenette, and a quite spectacular shower.

RoadRunner also has a private fenced patio with a claw-foot bathtub, which makes for a wonderful way to relax and stargaze, perhaps with a relaxing beverage, at the end of a long day baking.

The Coyote unit is a bit smaller, a true studio. It has a coffee maker, toaster oven, small fridge, and two twin beds.  It also has a remarkable rock shower and private patio, as well as the shared pool area.  (We are finishing up this unit and will post pictures soon.)

Each unit has a unique “desert style” making use of recycled, up-cycled, found, and thrifted treasures with more than a dash of funky flair.  They are comfortable and definitely unlike anything else you are likely to see in the desert or beyond.

Both units have access to a lovely in-ground pool and patio with a gas grill.

Lounge in the sun while you wait for your bread to rise, and cool off with a dip in the pool during swim-season (usually April-October).

outdoor shower

There is an outdoor shower on the desert side of the building, and taking a shower outside on a warm desert evening promises to be a transformative experience.

Arie

Both units share access to a wonderful covered open space “upstairs”  from the guest units, that we call The Aerie.  It is perfect for yoga, meditation or just gazing out into the desert.

We have two dogs, fondly called “the knuckleheads”, that live with us on the property and are a bit territorial when it comes to other dogs.  Because of this, we can not accommodate other pets.

We can accommodate an RV or trailer as well for dry dock camping.

desert

If our accommodations are full, we have made arrangements with one of our neighbors to be able to have two people stay there. It is down the road about a 10 minute drive.  If none of these options work for you there are myriad short term rental options, many walking distance from our place.  We will be glad to try to assist you in finding suitable lodging.

We do not recommend tent camping in this area due to very unpredictable winds.  More than once we have had to retrieve our stuff from neighboring properties after a wind gust.  Nature here is no joke

Contact us if you have special needs and we can work with you to find accommodations that will suit you.
